Freight Elevator Modernization in Malaysia

Our customer is a machinery factory in Malaysia. They need to modernize an old freight elevator. The freight elevator has been in existence since the day they built the factory and has been in use for more than 20 years.

There are no floor and car door buttons inside the elevator, and all the floor selection, door opening and closing can only be operated through the external LOP, which is inconvenient and unsafe for our customer.

The customer approached us to help them modernize the elevator, hoping that the elevator could be operated from inside to open and close doors and go up and down floors.

This modernization was different from the others in that the COP was customized, the character 1,2,3 controls the opening of the car door, and the open and close keys control the opening of the floor doors.

Today, we are pleased to announce that the retrofit project has been successfully completed and the retrofitted elevator is operating safely!
