How to Choose the Right Elevator for Your Warehouse
Traction
. Traction elevators use a motor and steel ropes, lifting the elevator by winding and unwinding the ropes.
. Suitable: Low-rise warehouse. Heavy loads. Limited pit/overhead
Hydraulic
. Hydraulic elevators use oil pressure to push a piston, which moves the elevator up and down.
. Suitable: High-rise warehouse. Heavy loads.

Hydraulic elevators are ideal for low-rise warehouses or applications with less frequent use. Traction elevators are better suited for high-rise warehouses or projects with higher usage demands.
If there is no pit or shaft available, a hydraulic elevator is usually the more practical option.
