Shopping Cart Specialized Escalator

This escalator is a shopping cart lane, effectively mitigating safety hazards related to shared transportation of customers and hand-pushed shopping carts. It installed and synchronized with pedestrian escalators. Customers and shopping carts are synchronized to use the up and down dedicated escalator channel, so that the customer shopping experience is more secure and comfortable, easy and convenient. Additionally, it can save building space and effectively improve the utilization rate of shopping mall space.

Shopping Cart and Pedestrian Escalators

This escalator allows people and carts to ride at the same time. This type of escalator is also known as a moving walk escalator, and the lifting angle is usually 30° and 35° degrees.

The wheels of the shopping cart feature a groove in the center, designed to match the rungs of the steps on the walkway installed in the supermarket. When the cart is pushed onto the moving walkway, the groove in the wheel securely fits into the rungs of the steps, held in place by the friction of the rubber pads.
